Comfortina 38
The Comfortina 38 is an extremely quick ship with a 7/8 SELDEN rigging with angled cross trees. It can be sailed without preventers which makes it easy to trim and to handle. The Comfortina 38 has a GRP inner hull which provides additional stability and good insulation. This means there are no messy areas behind panels and in cupboards. Strong frames are built in the underbody so that running aground cannot damage the hull. The keel is made of lead to improve sailing characteristics even further.
Two berths are located in the forecastle with plenty of cupboard and stowage space. The saloon offers plenty of space for relaxation and lots of stowage under the seating surfaces. The pantry offers lots of cupboard and workspace and it is fitted out with a double sink with pressurised water and a sea water pump. There is also a cooker with an oven and a large ice box.
The navigation area offers plenty of space and room for instruments.
Immediately behind this there is the bath and shower room which has a large cupboard for oilskins built in. The rear cabin is fitted out with a double berth and it has plenty of cupboard and stowage space. On the port side there is a large table which provides plenty of storage space for sails and rope. Additional storage space can be found in the stern.
