The Comfortina 42 is an outstanding performance cruising yacht. This is the flagship model in a range of high quality yachts created to undertake fast passages in ultimate comfort.
On deck it is evident that every effort has been made to ensure that the positioning of the equipment such as winches, opening lockers, turning blocks etc. facilitate easy sail control and movement around the deck. Robust construction and exceptional weight distribution ensures that the yacht handles perfectly even in most testing conditions, and boasts excellent sea keeping qualities.
The majority of Comfortina 42’s will be used for extended cruising but the impressive turn of speed and outstanding performance also allows the yacht to be a strong competitor for club racing enthusiasts.
The accommodation is everything one would expect from Swedish craftsmanship. The high quality teak interior shows careful use of space to provide outstanding storage and comfort. A well equipped galley area with gas stove and oven, refrigerator and double stainless steel sink caters for all culinary requirements.
The navigation centre has a full size chart table, a well designed switchboard and enough room to mount all required instruments.
Aft of the main saloon is a central folding dining table which opens to provide a large dining area with settees on either side of the cabin. The seats are upholstered in the finest Italian materials, whilst the ceiling lighting can be adjusted to suit your mood.
The owners’ cabin forward has its own en suite head and separate walk-in shower whilst the two aft guest cabins share a separate daytime head equipped with it own shower. The starboard guest cabin can be converted into a storage room with full access from the cockpit.
Under power the yacht is driven by a Volvo Penta 55HP engine with a three-bladed folding propeller to provide excellent speed and control both in forward and reverse gears.
