Facination on the water
Drawing upon our experiences with the Comfortina 35 and the Comfortina 42, both critically acclaimed and hugely successful performance cruisers in their own right, proved the ideal platform from which to start turning our dream of the Comfortina 39 into reality.
The Comfortina 39 realises our dream by bringing together elegant design, outstanding performance and gracious living. With the Comfortina 39 fast passage-making and exhilarating sailing can be enjoyed in comfort and safety.
On deck the layout will appeal to the cruising family and the racing crew alike.
High free board and well-formed seating for the crew and a rounded seat for the helmsman provide comfort even in rough seas. In the centre is the JEFA steering wheel fitted with roller bearings, to give a smooth and responsive feeling on the helm. The steering console holds the gear lever and supports instruments right where they are needed. The HARKEN mainsheet traveller runs over the full width of the cockpit directly in front of the steering console.
The saloon is a beautifully appointed environment to relax in after a great day’s sailing. The finest teak cut from a single tree ensures a consistency of grain and colour throughout. The seats are upholstered in the finest Italian materials, whilst the ceiling lighting can be adjusted to suit your mood. Numerous cupboards and cabinets enable this haven to be kept clear and tidy, with everything to hand when needed.
A fully equipped galley with gas oven and hob, cool storage and twin stainless steel sinks allows the crew to be fully catered for, whether hard-pressed at sea, or relaxing in harbour. Corian work surfaces and discreet lighting combine to offer both luxury and functionality.
The navigation centre has been carefully designed to offer plenty of space for comfortable passage planning, with ample storage and surfaces for mounting electronics.
Accommodation is outstanding, in particular the cabins. The teak-lined forecabin features a comfortable berth with spacious storage underneath and full size hanging lockers offering even further storage. The Guest Cabin is a full size double berth and plenty of thoughtful storage spaces including hanging lockers make any guests feel welcome aboard the Comfortina 39. The Aft cabin can either be used as another guest cabin, or can be converted into a storage room/workshop with direct access from the cockpit.
The heads offers an easily cleaned, functional environment equally usable at sea or in harbour. A particular feature is the separate shower cubicle.
