The dream yacht
The Comfortina 35 is a fast manoeuvrable and easy to sail yacht. The designer Thomas Bern has succeeded in giving her a good turn of speed and enormous stability with an attractive interior that is seldom found in a 35 foot yacht.
On deck it is evident that every effort has been made to ensure that the positioning of the equipment such as winches, opening lockers, turning blocks etc. facilitate easy sail control and movement around the deck. Robust construction and intuitive design makes the Comfortina 35 a remarkably stable yacht in relation to its generous width and its 2 tonne lead keel, possessing considerable sail carrying power.
The design qualities and feeling of space not usually found on a yacht of this size continues below deck. The well appointed galley with gas oven and hob, cool storage and twin stainless steel sinks allows the crew to be fully catered for, whether hard-pressed at sea, or relaxing in harbour. Corian work surfaces and discreet lighting combine to make cooking a pleasure.
The saloon creates a luxurious and relaxing ambiance especially after a great day’s sailing. The finest teak cut from a single tree ensures a consistency of grain and colour throughout. There is a large dining table surrounded by comfortable seats which are upholstered in the finest Italian materials, whilst the ceiling lighting can be adjusted to suit your mood. Numerous cupboards and cabinets enable this saloon to be kept clear and tidy, with everything to hand when needed.
The navigation area offers lots of stowage for sea maps and navigation instruments, 3 additional drawers and sufficient space to fit navigation appliances.
The owners’ cabin in bow has a double berth, with spacious wardrobes and storage, separated from the main saloon by a sliding door to offer privacy. The aft cabin also has a double berth offering good headroom a dressing area and spacious wardrobe.
The heads is located by the companionway area, making access ideal even in rough seas. There is also a large closet where wet weather clothing can be stored.
